Powerlevel Walkthrough in Restaurant City

In order to powerlevel in Restaurant City, you are going to need to follow a few rules. First you are going to have to make sure to design your restaurant in a functional way.

Levels 1-7

At first you are going to have to purchase only the basic tables and chairs. Don’t worry about specially designed floor tiles, wallpapers, etc. Expensive restaurant equipment doesn’t give you any advantage in the game, it just looks nice. Make mazes out of cheap tables and chairs (not setup to eat at) so that you can use them when you have a bigger restaurant. Save your money to upgrade your ingredients, learn recipes and level them up. The higher level your recipes, the more gourmet points you will get for each meal served.

When you pick your recipes, make sure you pick ones that do not have overlapping ingredient needs. For example, if your appetizer requires tomatoes, do not pick a main dish that requires tomatoes as well. Since it can be difficult to get a hold of these rotating ingredients, you have a better chance at keeping each one separate. Once you get level 10 recipes you will start making some real gourmet points per meal. Try to pick one recipe from each category (starter, main, desert) to level up and only serve it. While the game promotes serving two dishes per category, make sure you only serve one. The option to serve two or more of these on your menu is purely aesthetic. You want the customer to order your highest level dish so you get more gourmet points – so only offer your highest level dishes.

Make sure to start collecting ingredients now, even if they are not for the dishes you want to level up immediately – you will need them later on to either learn more recipes or trade for the ones you do need. Check out our list of ingredients needed to achieve all level 10 dishes, you will need a lot!

Your employees will lose roughly .1% energy every 12 seconds. This translates to 1% every 120 seconds, 25% every 50 minutes. This will be when you should feed your employees water to keep their energy up – the higher energy they have, the faster they will serve your guests and therefore the more money they will make. If you want to powerlevel, get some type of alarm timer and setting it to remind you to pull the game back up and do this.

Level 8-14

Bathrooms have unlocked and you are now required to have one. The problem with this is that it gets dirty pretty regularly so you have to either have a full time cleaner or take an employee off a job to clean it.

When you are powerleveling, you will not worry about the toilet getting dirty. Having a clean toilet will increase your popularity, but it wont increase your gourmet points or money. Also, if you are constantly taking employees off other jobs to clean it, then your service to your customers will be reduced. This will then result in lower popularity, but from another source. For now, have only one toilet in your restaurant and let it stay dirty.

Level 15+

You now have drinks unlocked and the garden is also unlocked now. Unless you have amassed all the herb ingredients you need, it is recommended that you start planting those seeds. Learn a recipe for a drink and then buy a drink dispenser, in that order. Your popularity will decrease now if you do not serve drinks in your restaurant. Unlike toilets, the customers that come for drinks will take up a table and then leave without eating – which slows down all of your paying customers. To make a long story short, you are better off accommodating them even if your drink recipe is a lower level than your regular recipes.
